DRS27 Vision Placement

18 Micron Placement
Precision vision alignment accuracy with ease, 70/125mm. High magnification Direct View Camera option allows for extremely close up viewing of all four corners plus center area of part/location.

 

DRS27 Preheater

High Efficiency IR Preheater
Black ceramic, high-emissivity coating dramatically increases radiant energy to produce the high preheat temperatures required for high thermal mass lead-free rework.

 

DRS27 Spot Heater1

Unique Bottom Spot Heater
Powerful 3500 watt bottom side convection heating option, directs heat to the specific component area within 3mm of board. Reduces top side heating.

   
   


DRS27 Carrier

Flexible Bottom Clearance
The expandable board carrier measures 32" wide by any depth. Keep close for performance or away for 1.62" clearance.

 


DRS27 Air Knife Cooldown

Programmable Cool Down
An integrated board cooling system is built into the board carrier with upper cool air injection that bypasses the heating element and flows air to the nozzle and component.

 


DRS27 Pick and Place

Automatic Pick & Place
Motorized z-axis and theta rotation. Programmable component pick-up and adjustable force placement (20-2000 grams).

   
   


DRS27 IR Sensor

IR Sensor with Laser Pointer
Optional - Provides process repeatability by insuring that the board is at the exact same target temperatures each time before localized reflow begins.

 


DRS27 Site Clean

Non-Contact Site Cleaning
Optional - Fully automated removal of residual site solder without damaging the pads or solder mask. Critical for lead-free rework due to significantly higher temperature requirements.

 


DRS27 Insertion Tool

Universal Insertion Tool
The component Insertion Tool option mechanically self-centers any device for accurate and easy pick up.
